(12-07-02)Well all, the year is getting close to a close. And you know what that means, toy season! And yes, it is toy season for the drunken webmaster too. He's getting a new computer :) But it won't be done till the middle of Jan. I'm looking at a little under 900 bux for it, so it'll prolly have to be two checks, unless my next check is a lot more than I'm expecting. But I'll keep you all posted. (11-19-02)Oh my, the lab is in disarray. And I've become infrequent on updates lately. I'll try to do a bit of both. Hopefully I'll have time to change the page around more sometime soon. That'd be nice, but things don't always happen the way I'd like. Gonna try to clean the lab up some, work on the Boom Box some, maybe work on the site some. The troop site needs major work, but I'm waiting on some support from the troop for that. Maybe I'll sucker somebody into it. Man I hate having to capitolize. Stupid language. (10-18-02)Well, been a bit on the updates. I have excuses. I've been working, and sleeping, and I had my wisdom teeth out, and I've been remodelling my room. But I'm doing it now. I'll prolly be changing the format of the page again. But maybe before that I'm gonna be changing around the troop website. About time huh? Well, in any case, I wanted to post up some pics of my room, AKA "Drunken Labs." I feel so special. :) Well, here they are!
(09-27-02)It's official. Maniac7's Asylum is now "The Drunken Web." It became official as soon as I took the initiative to change the port in use by the server. As an update for you loyal fans: Cox Communications (my Internet Service Provider) is screwing me up the ass. They have blocked access to my web server, therefore we're doing what all good hacks do - find ways around rules! It may be inconvinient, but until I can afford another 70 bux a month (ontop of the current 35) to pay them for a "business account" you all are using port 100 to connect to the server. For those of you who have no idea what that means, 1) find out what a port is in relation to the internet, and 2) look at the address bar and notice the ":100" That means you're using port 100. Yay. Now that we're all straight, I'm gonna go back to working on my site. Expect more updates, as well as pictures of the progress on Drunk Labs. -DW
(09-22-02)Well, Drunken Labs has now officially been relocated to T-town. I moved back in with my parents. Therefore all my equipment is scattered around the house. Haven't got my machine up yet, my room isn't done, and the network is in pieces. But it's a work in progress. I'll get everything working, and let everybody know where to find the relocated site as soon as possible. :-D -Drunk
(09-07-02)Another update. Wow, I make them frequently now. Maybe I'm becoming less lazy. Well, for now, there will be no more news page. Awwwwwwwww.... Instead I'm putting all news updates on the main page, so maybe somebody will read them. I might put all these back on the news page after the first of the year, and have an archived news page. Bet you can't wait for that one :-p On the dark side of life, it appears one of the hard drives in my computer is dying, so it looks like I'm stuck using the webserver for a while as my primary machine :( That's sad stuff. It's always sad when I lose a family mem - I mean computer part. -Drunk
(09-05-02)Well, I have finally made a Quake 3 page. I promised it months ago, and here it is! Expect more to come. Even possibly expect Quake 'n Bake to be up again fulltime! Yay! Don't know how yet, but I'll work something out. Until then, have fun, play hard, and drink a lot!

(06-08-02)Brad, you were wrong. Goldfinger did not break up (to my great relief) but something tragic has happened in the music world. Mojo Records is now a thing of the past. Yes, the label is no longer. Goldfinger however is alive and kicking, and they have a new album! :) I've heard most of it and it is no less than can be expected from the greatest band of all time.
(05-29-02)Wow. I finally updated the format on the website. I've been thinking about doing that for a long time. Finally did it. Not the absolute spiffiest thing in the world, but it ain't bad. And it should load a lot faster for you low bandwidth losers - I mean users. Sorry. Anyhow, as you can read on other pages, I want to host my own Domain. (For you non computer minded people, that means you could get to my webpage by a simple address like www.maniac7.com) I also would like to upgrade some of the server software, as well as the operating system on the web server. And for even more of a financial burden, I have plans to build a new computer. My current computer would then become the new web server. That's good for us both :-D So send donations right away!!!
